What is it and how does it work?
The Community Chest Fund is a fund for projects that benefit local people and forms, is part of Westminster City Council’s Ebury Bridge Social Value programme and is funded by Bouygues UK. The fund’s focus is on directly
benefitting residents on and off the estate, and who will be returning to support growing their community.
The Community Chest Fund is overseen by the Ebury Bridge Community Partnership Group (CPG). The group wants to fund community projects that benefit a wide age range of Ebury residents, and that can support community cohesion both in the short and long term.
You can apply for up to £10k, there is no minimum level. If you have an idea for a community project (such as a gardening club or cooking classes) please see the details below for how to apply.
Applications will be considered at each CPG meetings. We advise applicants to send their forms to eburybridge@westminster.gov.uk by the 15th of each month. The CPG meets on the first Tuesday in the month except in August. The Community Chest funding ends in June 2024, therefore the last application deadline will be 15 May 2024.
